This Just-In, Are The Chiefs Done On Sunday?

In an unprecedented season for Mahomes and the Chiefs, the Chargers have the opportunity to book Kansas City's tickets to Cancun on Sunday.  On life support, the Chiefs hopes to keep their season meaningful ride on this game on Sunday. Will we see a Chief-less post-season for the first time since 2018?

Coming off one of the worst games Mahomes has ever had, the Chiefs gear up to take on a busted up Chargers team coming off an inspiring win against the reigning Superbowl champs. With a Chiefs offense that has been inconsistent and stagnant at times, and a defense that still struggles to get off the field on 3rd down, it begs the question if they will be able to rally to come up with a win. 

Opposite of the Chiefs, the Los Angeles Chargers are coming into the game off an incredible victory against the Eagles. However, a QB with a broken hand and an abysmal offensive line that gave up 7 sacks last week, can the Chargers scrap another miracle performance together to beat a desperate Chiefs team?

This game will come down to several factors:

• Who has the better run game?

• Who can get off the field on 3rd down?

• Who can protect their QB better?

The team that can succeed in those three things will come out of this game as the victor.
