Falcons Upset Rams

In what might be the most surprising game of the week, the Atlanta Falcons found themselves dancing through the Los Angeles Rams on a Monday Night Showdown. The Rams lose out on seeding and Stafford could have lost out on the MVP award with his poor play.

The Atlanta Falcons (7-9) showed up Monday night with violence in their heart as they upset the Rams in a 27-24 victory. Kirk Cousins went 13/20 for 126 yards, while Bijan Robinson had himself a night with 22 carries for 195 yards, and David Sills V led receiving with 3 catches for 37 yards. The Falcons defense swarmed the Rams as they had 3 sacks, 5 QB hits, and 3 interceptions.

The Rams (11-5) got off to an extremely slow start and were never able to regain control as Matthew Stafford went for 269 yards, 2 TDs and 3 interceptions; Kyren Williams led rushing with 13 carries for 92 yards, and Xavier Smith led receiving with 4 catches for 67 yards. The Rams need to work out these kinks before the playoffs or they won’t be able to make it through a treacherous NFC.
